Owner Jim Strege purchased what was then "Triangle Beverage" after graduating from college. Struggling to survive as “just another convenience store,” the store decided to add some bait and tackle in 1985. Following steady growth, it didn’t take long before the little convenience store became a legitimate tackle shop. It became obvious that a name change was in order and in 2008 Triangle Beverage officially became "Triangle Bait and Tackle."
"I have been going to the triangle for fishing gear since I was really little. I remember going fishing with my uncle and it was always that early morning last stop before hitting the river. You never have to worrie about if they have what you need or not if its a fish and it swims around here they have it covered. Alway super friendly and very knowledgeable and willing to help out with any advice if you ask. You just don't have places like this around anymore its definitely a very special place. Better than any big sporting good store hands down!!!"
